MILL OVERVIEW :

The UNISTEEL bar mill plant is a state-of-the-art rolling mill facility designed and constructed by VOEST-ALPINE INDUSTRIEANLAGENBAU (VAI) Austrian Group of Companies, employing the latest design and technology in the bar rolling field.

The manufacturing process takes place in a fully automated and computerized sequence starting from its modern 100T/H Walking Beam-type Reheating Furnace down to the compact-cassette roll-to-bearing assembly in the mill equipped with the latest stock slitting design and its cutting length optimization program for optimal process and operational control.
Moreover, its receiving bed, cutting machines and other relevant product handling equipments are likewise equipped with modern electro-mechanical and computer controlled systems synchronized with the mill control system that simplifies the whole manufacturing operation into a highly productive, efficient, and safe process.
